According to the Delta state born rapper, he fell in love with the 808 sound after listening to artists such as The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller, Drake, and Metro Boomin.

He then groomed himself in production and started applying the sound creatively to his music. PKD is a Lagos based rapper and producer. Besides making music he works as a publicist and content creator.
